Depression says to me today, “You are a bad friend, business woman, partner, parent & grandparent.” This is the story I’ve been hearing on repeat for months now, more so lately than usual.
Last week my Mister and I were walking. I saw this interesting, rusty piece and snapped a quick photo. Now I see this is what depression is like for me.
The one on the right – the actual photo. The one on the left? The dark filtered one.
My depression means I’m seeing life through a dark filter right now.
Thank you for the encouragement. Thank you for your ideas about what I should be doing to get better, faster. Thank you for reminding me there are worse things than what I’m experiencing right now.
I just need some time. I’m a little rusty for now.
