Below is a list of websites & apps that offer free TV, movies, news, documentaries & children’s programming. You’ll see that there is really nothing to miss by breaking up with cable and finding the shows you love another way. Know of one I missed? Comment below so I can add it!
The online outlets of “regular TV stations” offer full, free episodes of their most popular shows. With some you have a wait a couple days or a week to watch the latest episode, but not all. I use them all the time.
You’ll also find some great sites that offer all kinds of movies and TV shows. Some are older, some are original, but they’re all pretty awesome. The selection is just incredible.
iTunes -There’s lots of free content on iTunes, and of course you always have the option to pay a per episode fee to watch things you can’t find elsewhere.
Google Play – There is plenty of free content, in addition to the paid content.
Uverse – Believe it or not you can watch TV shows free on Uverse without a subscription!
Boomerang (kids shows)
YouTube – They now have a paid TV service (more on that here), but I still search YT for things like cable news so that I can watch entire segments for free.
Did this help? Think you can use this list to find TV shows or movies you love, for free? Happy watching!
