I stayed at Harrah’s in Kansas City a few days and while I’m not much of a gambler, I found the place to be much nicer than I’d imagine a casino hotel to me.
I don’t know. Call me crazy but I always think of a casino hotel as a place that smells like smoke and desperation. Since I don’t gamble (not because I’m a prude like that, but because I’m bad at it), I don’t really understand the desire to sleep near a casino. Maybe one day I’ll grow up and gamble away an ex-husband or two.
The room was clean, and quite large. It was a bit dated, but maybe all casino rooms are supposed to look like Elvis slept in them.
