I’m in love with St. Pete. I mean real, true love. The kind of love that leaves you almost unable to sleep for thinking about your Honey. The kind of love you wake up thinking about, and can’t wait to be with.
I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been in Kansas way too long, or if I’d be happy no matter what body of water I was near. All I know is that I love it here and I’m not at all sure a couple weeks is going to be long enough.
Take a look at my new boyfriend and you’ll understand why I’m crushing on…
St. Pete, Florida
There are creatures everywhere. Things that fly. Things that swim. Things that crawl on me and make me jump around like my uterus is on fire. I love seeing them all. It’s such a visually interesting place!
Look at these feathered creatures. They’re like, “We’re just standing around being sexy because that’s how we do in St. Pete.”
Do the people who live here realize they are walking around inside an artists’ canvas? Am I nuts, or does this make your tear glands swell up?
Even when it’s rainy, it’s beautiful.
I stood there looking at the sky reflected in the water, and I am not kidding when I say I didn’t want to move. I honestly wanted to punch the Tall Man in his gorgeous, chiseled face for suggesting it was time to go.
Don’t tell anyone, but I’m probably going to dig this up and take it back to Kansas. I’ll need a shovel, and some rope, and some plastic bags. Luckily, those things are always in my trunk.
Could slow us down a bit on the road trip back depending on which way the wind is blowing, but I’m cool with that. It’s gonna look awesome in my living room.
I hate to be “that blogger” who shoves photos of her trip down everyone’s throat. But, I’m convinced I’m doing you a great service in shoving St. Pete, Florida down your throat. I want you to love it. I want you to visit.
Hey, I want us all to move here. Everybody. In the world. Here. In St. Pete. No one can be surrounded by this beauty and be pissy, right? Jeez, just looking at the pictures I want to give money to my enemies and feed glitter to unicorns.
